The Agentic Fabrication Network (“AFN”, “we”) is operated by FabNet AI Inc. and finds
fabrication shops that can make your design, shows you their prices, and places your order with
the shop you choose. This policy covers AFN’s website at agenticfabricationnetwork.ai, its API, and
the AFN app in ChatGPT and other AI assistants. Questions: hello@fabnet.ai.
What we collect
Your design and what you ask for. The files you share (artwork, 3D models, CAD, drawings),
and the details of your request: process, material, quantity, deadline, budget, and the
requirements you describe.
Your destination ZIP code, if you give it, so prices include shipping to you.
Order details. When you pay, the payment page collects your name, shipping address, email,
and sometimes a phone number, and we receive them to fulfill your order. Your billing address and card
are collected by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not receive or store your card number.
Messages and reviews you send about an order, including your answers to a shop’s questions
and the reviews you leave.
Technical information. Our servers see your IP address to limit abuse; we do not store it.
We record which assistant or app made a request (for example, ChatGPT) and its user-agent string.
In ChatGPT, AFN receives only what the assistant sends to AFN’s tools: the file you choose to
share and the details of your request. We do not receive your ChatGPT account, your name, your chat
history, or your location, and you do not need an AFN account.
On our websites, we may record how pages are used (clicks, page views, and session recordings,
with password and card fields masked) to find and fix problems. Raw event data is deleted after 90 days.
We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
How we use it
To get quotes from fabrication shops, show you offers, and place and track your order.
To send order emails: confirmation, receipt, status and shipping updates, questions from the shop,
refunds, and a request to review your order.
To keep vendor ratings honest (reviews come only from verified purchases) and to let you reorder a part.
To improve the network: we analyze past quotes and requests to estimate prices and to learn which
processes and materials people need.
To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Fabrication shops. To get prices, we send your design files, request details, and destination
ZIP code to the shops on the network that can make it, often several at once. When you order, the shop
you chose receives what it needs to make and ship it: your design, your name, and your shipping
address, and depending on the shop, your email and phone number.
Stripe, which processes payments.
Service providers that run AFN for us: hosting and databases (Fly.io, Neon), file storage
(Cloudflare R2), and email delivery (Resend).
AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) that process review text, and order and site data, when we use
AI tools to moderate reviews and to operate and improve the service.
Others when required: to comply with law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger
or acquisition.
Links and files
Uploaded designs, preview images, and order pages are reached through long, unguessable
links rather than a login. Anyone who has one of these links can open it, so share them carefully and
do not upload anything you need to keep confidential.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including contact and shipping details, for as long as we need them to provide
the service, handle returns and disputes, and meet legal and tax obligations. We keep design files so
you can reorder a part by its part number. Our server logs record tool requests, which can include checkout
details, and are kept by our hosting provider under its retention schedule. Raw website event data is
deleted after 90 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@fabnet.ai
from the email address on your order. We will verify the request and answer within 30 days. We may keep
what the law requires us to keep, such as transaction records. Residents of some U.S. states,
including California, have these rights by law, and we honor them for everyone.
Children
AFN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Where we operate
AFN serves customers in the United States, and we store and process data in the United States.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
For material changes, we will give notice on this site.
